Crafts: Kanoko Shibori Deer

Tonight, I made a deer!

I was out of felt and pom-poms...so I had to finish him off with beads instead. I used purple kimono fabric for the body and a teal/green coloured kanoko shibori silk for the accents. It is a little wonky, but practice makes perfect, I guess.

I got my belt in the mail today! it fits perfectly on my hips and the fabric and your craftsmanship--just fantastic.

I'm so glad the goodies arrived safe and sound! I think the belt you got was probably my second favourite (besides the purple shibori one) - I really liked the combination of the three different patterns and the soft - yet vibrant colours. I'm glad it fits perfect!

Awww, I love him! How appropriate that you used kanoko shibori fabric to make this baby deer. :D It does kinda look like fawn spots on him. I like the look of the glass beads as eyes and nose.
